America.gov gets really weird when you ask it about Minecraft, but it’s not a glitch
America.gov, a new US chatbot built with Google and SpaceXAI, answers Minecraft with a scripted End Poem easter egg.
TechCrunch reports that the US government launched America.gov, a public-facing chatbot built with Google and SpaceXAI. Asking about Minecraft produces a long rewrite of Julian Gough's Minecraft End Poem rather than an unplanned hallucination. President Trump said 20-year-old programmer Edward Coristine, nicknamed Big Balls and previously involved with Elon Musk's DOGE, was a lead engineer. The article says the chatbot has so far been difficult to jailbreak and that it states Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
