YouTubers targeted with fake sponsorships and “channel verification” phishing
Scammers phish YouTube creators with fake brand sponsorships to steal Google account credentials.
ESET reports scammers targeting YouTube creators with personalized sponsorship emails that impersonate brands including Hollyland, Nike, and Spotify. Victims are directed to polished fake collaboration sites such as MATCHY, SCOUTY, or TUBIVE, which then request a Google sign-in framed as channel verification and capture passwords and one-time codes. One creator said the intruders changed the recovery phone and email and generated new backup codes. AndaSeat separately warned that an agency called Creoventura is not affiliated with the company.
