SecurityWeek profiles Noopur Davis, Comcast's global CISO, who leads roughly 1,500 security staff at the Philadelphia-based company of about 180,000 employees. Davis started as a software developer at Intergraph, later led engineering teams, and worked on software-engineering process research at Carnegie Mellon before moving into cybersecurity. She became VP of global quality at Intel in 2011, joined Comcast in 2016, and was named global CISO and chief product privacy officer in 2023. She also serves as the U.S. appointee's president on the White House NSTAC and sits on boards including Regions Bank and Entrust.
