AppViewX Adds Shadow AI Visibility and a Runtime Kill Switch to Agent Identity Security
AppViewX added shadow AI discovery, an MCP gateway, and a runtime kill switch to Agent Identity Security.
AppViewX expanded Agent Identity Security to discover sanctioned and shadow AI agents, including browser-based and short-lived script agents, and to extend its AI Bill of Materials to agent skills. A new MCP Gateway inventories sanctioned and shadow MCP servers, uses just-in-time access, and can redact sensitive data, including via Microsoft Purview. An Agent Kill Switch can terminate sanctioned or shadow agents and sessions automatically, by policy, or on demand, including through Shared Signals Framework workflows. The release also adds token-cost controls, quantum-resilient agent identities, and alignment checks against OWASP agentic guidance, MITRE ATLAS, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001/42001, NIST, the EU AI Act, SOC 2, and SEC cyber disclosure rules.
