AI Agent Gateway: Open-source tool keeps credentials out of agent configs
Tuskira's open-source AI Agent Gateway keeps credentials out of agent configs and enforces tool permissions.
Tuskira released AI Agent Gateway, a free open-source proxy between AI agents, MCP tool servers, and model providers. Agents send a gateway key and profile; the gateway authorizes the call, then attaches credentials from an encrypted store so the agent never holds tokens such as a GitHub secret. Model traffic for Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, and Gemini can use the same gateway, which records token use and estimated cost. Unbound keys can request any profile, and optional storage of prompt and response bodies, capped at 1 MiB, can be turned off.
