Claude partial outage
Anthropic is mitigating a partial Claude outage causing errors on claude.ai, the API, Claude Code, and Cowork.
Anthropic's status page reports a partial outage with elevated error rates across claude.ai, including desktop and mobile apps, platform.claude.com, the Claude API, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. Users may see failed requests, conversation load or send errors, or repeated sign-in prompts. A mitigation posted at 14:41 UTC on Sep 29, 2026 substantially reduced errors, but some sign-in, account actions, and Claude Code and Cowork sessions are still failing while a full fix continues.
