Cloudflare Registrar rebuilt domain search and lets agents register or transfer domains via API, MCP, and CLI.
Cloudflare overhauled Registrar search so results for an exact name appear across more than 420 supported extensions, with sorting, filtering, and at-cost pricing. Agents can search, register, or transfer domains through the Registrar API, Cloudflare MCP, and the cf CLI, and a sandbox lets workflows be tested without a real purchase. Search progressively checks prepared zone datasets, DNS, cached answers, and live registry lookups, updating results as fresher data arrives. The service runs on Workers, Durable Objects, and Workers KV.
