Flet 1.0, an open-source Python framework rendering Flutter UIs, reaches production readiness with eight build targets, bundled Python 3.12-3.14, and 6.7x faster control diffing.
The Flet team released Flet 1.0.0 on PyPI under the Apache 2.0 license, declaring the Python UI framework ready for production apps four years after the project began. The flet build CLI targets eight platforms (apk, aab, ipa, ios-simulator, windows, macos, linux, web) and bundles Python 3.12, 3.13, or 3.14, with over 100 packages like NumPy and pandas available for mobile. Performance work yields up to 6.7x faster control diffing, and a dart-bridge lets Python and Dart runtimes communicate in one process without sockets. A Flet MCP server provides AI coding assistants with version-specific API information.
