Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model not yet public, claiming leading coding and cybersecurity scores.
Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model it says leads in coding, knowledge work, and cybersecurity, but public access is not open yet. On DeepSWE v1.1, Argon scored 77.9 percent, above GPT-6 Astra, Fable 5.1, and Opus 5.5, and Google also cites a leading Vals Index result. Internal Argon agents reportedly freed 300 TiB of data-center memory and are migrating C and C++ to Rust, including more than 800,000 lines in the Fuchsia Zircon kernel. Output length rises to 1 million tokens from 64,000; API pricing has not been announced.
