OpenAI claims an ex-employee took its product plans and presented them to Apple
OpenAI says a former employee took over 100 product files and showed them to Apple.
In a Wednesday court filing, OpenAI alleges an unnamed former employee sent more than 100 product-plan files to a personal account and later presented them to Apple leadership, including a vice president of Asian operations. OpenAI says the files include images of at least one unreleased device, supplier information, engineering data, and hardware finish and sealing reports, and it links the presentation to Apple's new HomeView smart display. In the same trade-secrets dispute, Apple accuses OpenAI of taking confidential documents and observing hardware prototypes. Apple had not commented.
