Inside Gemini 4 Argon, the model Google is testing on its own infrastructure first
Google unveils Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model with 1M-token output, first for trusted cyber defenders.
Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model for coding, enterprise work, and cybersecurity, initially limited to trusted testers in the Fairwind Program. It supports a 1 million token output limit, up from 64,000, with introductory pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. Argon leads several benchmarks, including 77.9% on DeepSWE v1.1, 91.7% on LVBench, 51.3% on Zapier's AutomationBench, and 68% on CWE-bench v1. For trusted defenders, usual cyber safety restrictions are lifted; Wiz reported Argon found a critical healthcare-software flaw, while Google cites stronger indirect prompt-injection resistance and real-time chain-of-thought monitoring.
