8 major updates to Cloudflare Observability
Cloudflare combined logs, traces, SQL queries, alerts, and dashboards into one observability platform with new pricing.
Cloudflare announced eight observability updates that put logs, traces, analytics, alerts, dashboards, and Logpush export on one platform with volume-based pricing. The Logs view covers HTTP events, firewall events, Workers, Containers, R2, and AI Gateway, while Cloudflare Traces enters open beta with OpenTelemetry export and W3C trace-context propagation. A beta unified SQL API, the cf CLI, an Observability MCP server, and a Workers binding let people and agents query the same telemetry. From December 1, 2026, paid and Enterprise plans include 50 GB of ingestion and 10 GB-month of storage per cycle, then $0.25 per GB ingested and $0.10 per GB-month stored.
