At Meta Connect, the company’s smart glasses were everywhere
Meta demoed camera-free audio glasses and $150 hearing glasses tied to its Muse agent.
TechCrunch reports that Meta Connect centered on the company's smart glasses, including unreleased audio-only glasses with six microphones and no camera. The glasses will integrate with Muse, Meta's personal agent, so wearers can give spoken commands such as sending email or reading to-do lists, though that integration is not yet public. A separate hearing-assistance model, developed for about five years, is priced at $150 versus hearing aids costing up to $1,600 and can amplify a person in front of the wearer or sound from all directions.
