SpaceX's Starship launching to orbit for first time ever today
SpaceX plans Starship's first orbital flight from Texas, deploying 26 Starlink Version 3 satellites.
SpaceX scheduled Starship flight 14 from Starbase in Texas on September 28, its first attempt to reach orbit after 13 suborbital tests. The Ship upper stage is planned to deploy 26 Starlink Version 3 satellites, circle Earth six times, and splash down in the Pacific off Chile nearly 10 hours later. Super Heavy is scheduled to splash down in the Gulf of Mexico about seven minutes after liftoff.
