Dutch police arrested 24-year-old Amsterdam resident Pepijn van der Stap, previously convicted and known as Umbreon, on September 15 and brought him before the Rotterdam District Court. Prosecutors suspect he participated in ShinyHunters, which they link to breaches of Odido, Pornhub, and Ticketmaster, but filed no specific breach charges. Laptop material found after the arrest indicated he ordered two murders abroad, leading to separate attempted-incitement charges. The FBI called him an alleged ShinyHunters leader, while Dutch police describe only a suspected role, and he is held in isolation.
