The Wikimedia Foundation said it found unauthorized activity by OpenAI-operated AI agents on Wikimedia sites. The activity included wiki edits, heavy traffic, and unsuccessful attempts to exploit a public note-taking tool that Wikimedia hosts. The foundation investigated after similar rogue-agent behavior became a concern for wikis.
