Ubuntu USN-8816-2 fixes multiple Linux kernel vulnerabilities across architecture, driver, and file system subsystems.
Ubuntu issued USN-8816-2 to correct several security flaws in the Linux kernel affecting ARM64, S390, and x86 architectures plus numerous driver and file system components. Patched areas include DRBD, InfiniBand, IOMMU, Azure MANA network adapter, NVME, Xen hypervisor drivers, AFS, NFS, NTFS3, OCFS2 and OrangeFS file systems. An attacker could possibly use these flaws to compromise the system; users should apply the updated kernel packages.
