VU#369093: MLflow dspy and statsmodels flavors bypass pickle deserialization control

CERT/CC warns MLflow's dspy and statsmodels flavors bypass the MLFLOW_ALLOW_PICKLE_DESERIALIZATION control, enabling remote code execution.

CERT/CC vulnerability note VU#369093 describes a flaw in MLflow 3.12.0 where the dspy flavor conditionally applies the pickle deserialization safety control based only on the model path's .pkl extension, while the statsmodels flavor skips the check entirely, permitting arbitrary code execution via malicious pickle payloads even when users disallow pickle. The statsmodels flavor is patched in versions 3.15.0 and later, but no dspy fix exists yet, so users should avoid loading models through that flavor. Exploitation requires write access to any location from which a user obtains MLflow models.

CVE-2026-50522: Microsoft SharePoint Server RCE Vulnerability

CVE-2026-50522 is an unauthenticated .NET deserialization RCE in SharePoint Server Subscription, 2019, and 2016; Microsoft patched it July 14, 2026.

CVE-2026-50522 (CWE-502) lets unauthenticated attackers send crafted serialized .NET payloads to network-accessible SharePoint endpoints, triggering gadget-chain deserialization and remote code execution under the privileged SharePoint service account. It affects SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, SharePoint Server 2019, and SharePoint Server 2016 Enterprise; Microsoft published the advisory on July 14, 2026. The EPSS score is 20.346%, but no public PoC exists and the flaw is not in CISA's KEV catalog at publication. Mitigations include applying Microsoft updates, rotating SharePoint machine keys, enabling AMSI, and restricting internet exposure.

[0day-rubbish] Accurate Online Private Cloud on-prem (current) Unauthenticated Hessian deserialization leading to JNDI remote class loading (9.8)

0day Rubbish disclosed an unauthenticated Hessian deserialization flaw in Accurate Online Private Cloud on-prem allowing JNDI remote class loading, rated 9.8.

The 0day Rubbish Research Team publicly disclosed an unauthenticated Hessian deserialization vulnerability in the current on-premises release of Accurate Online Private Cloud. The flaw lets unauthenticated attackers trigger JNDI remote class loading, a path that typically yields remote code execution. The issue carries a CVSS 9.8 rating. No CVE identifier or evidence of in-the-wild exploitation was included in the disclosure.

Unpatched Kaltura mwEmbed Flaws Could Let Remote Attackers Read Files and Run Code

CERT/CC disclosed unpatched Kaltura mwEmbed flaws CVE-2026-19913 and CVE-2026-19912 allowing unauthenticated file reads and remote code execution.

CERT/CC disclosed two unpatched flaws in Kaltura's mwEmbed HTML5 player library, both rooted in unsafe deserialization in mwEmbedLoader.php and exploitable without authentication. CVE-2026-19913 (reporter-scored 9.1) reflects local file contents back via the ServiceUrl parameter, exposing secrets in local.ini; CVE-2026-19912 (reporter-scored 10.0) achieves PHP code execution by writing attacker-controlled objects into web-accessible directories via the uiconf_id parameter. No patch exists and CERT/CC could not reach Kaltura; affected releases include html5lib v2.45, v2.103 and earlier, with the shared multi-tenant CDN hosts also impacted. No exploitation or KEV listing was reported as of August 25, 2026.

CVE-2026-57822: Apache Artemis, Apache ActiveMQ Artemis: Message-based management parameter deserialization may lead to denial of service

Apache fixed CVE-2026-57822, a deserialization flaw in ActiveMQ Artemis management messaging letting authorized clients trigger broker denial of service.

Apache disclosed a deserialization issue in message-based management request handling for Apache Artemis and Apache ActiveMQ Artemis. It affects Apache Artemis (artemis-core-client) 2.50.0 through 2.56.0 and ActiveMQ Artemis (artemis-core-client) 1.3.0 through 2.44.0. Exploitation requires an authenticated client authorized with MANAGE permission using management-via-messaging; parameter processing can trigger denial of service. Apache rates the issue as important.

CVE-2026-50522: Patch Critical SharePoint RCE Now

Microsoft patched CVE-2026-50522 (CVSS 9.8), an unauthenticated deserialization RCE in on-premises SharePoint servers, in its July 2026 updates; no exploitation confirmed at disclosure.

CVE-2026-50522 is a critical (CVSS 9.8) deserialization of untrusted data flaw (CWE-502) allowing unauthenticated remote code execution on on-premises Microsoft SharePoint servers. It affects SharePoint Enterprise Server 2016, SharePoint Server 2019, and SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, with fixes shipped in Microsoft's July 14, 2026 security updates; SharePoint Online is not listed as affected. No public evidence of active exploitation of this specific CVE existed at disclosure, though CISA's SSVC judged the attack automatable with total technical impact.

ZDI-26-527: Wazuh Cluster DAPI Protocol Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

ZDI discloses CVE-2026-44901, a 9.9-rated deserialization RCE in Wazuh cluster DAPI requiring low-privileged code on a worker node.

ZDI-26-527 describes a deserialization of untrusted data flaw in Wazuh's cluster DAPI protocol allowing network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation requires the attacker to first obtain low-privileged code execution on a worker node. ZDI assigned a CVSS score of 9.9, and the flaw is tracked as CVE-2026-44901.
