Enterprise Threat Intelligence Buying Guide: How to Choose the Right Solutionnew

ANY.RUN published a buyer's guide for enterprise threat intelligence platforms, outlining evaluation criteria and promoting its own TI products.

ANY.RUN, whose sandbox, TI Lookup, and TI Feeds products are featured throughout, published guidance for selecting an enterprise threat intelligence provider. The guide recommends defining SOC or MSSP requirements first, then weighing intelligence quality and freshness, integrations including STIX/TAXII support, privacy, scalability, and proof-of-concept testing with real alerts. It emphasizes context and enrichment over raw data volume, citing figures such as TI Lookup results in about 2 seconds and 99% validated IOCs in its feeds.

What is Proactive Threat Intelligence? | Recorded Future

Recorded Future publishes a vendor explainer on proactive threat intelligence, arguing external adversary context helps teams act before alerts fire.

Recorded Future published a conceptual blog on proactive threat intelligence, describing how external context on adversaries, infrastructure, stolen credentials, and vulnerability exploitation helps security teams act before intrusions surface internally. The piece outlines a four-step program: defining intelligence requirements, collecting external sources including OSINT and dark web, analyzing relevance to the organization, and driving security actions. Use cases include prioritizing CVEs by real-world exploitation activity and identifying external exposure before it becomes an internal incident.

ANY.RUN & SentinelOne: One Workspace, Instant Context for Rapid Response

ANY.RUN integrates its interactive sandbox, IOC lookups, and STIX/TAXII threat feeds natively into SentinelOne for faster automated malware triage.

ANY.RUN and SentinelOne launched connectors that embed interactive sandbox analysis and threat intelligence into the SentinelOne console via Singularity Hyperautomation. Suspicious files and URLs from alerts are automatically submitted to the ANY.RUN sandbox, with behavioral verdicts and risk scores returned into alert notes. On-demand IOC lookups draw on sandbox history from 16,000 organizations and 700,000 analysts. A separate STIX/TAXII feed streams verified malicious IPs, domains, and URLs through the SentinelOne Marketplace TAXII Connect app.

Threat Intelligence Alone Won't Close the Exploitation Gap

Pentera argues threat intelligence alone leaves a validation gap, promoting threat-led penetration testing that auto-tests leaked credentials against real attack surfaces.

A contributed Pentera piece argues that threat intelligence signals such as leaked credentials and vulnerability advisories often sit unactioned in queues because teams lack the offensive capacity to validate them against live environments. It promotes threat-led penetration testing (TLPT) and highlights Pentera's integration with Recorded Future, which triggers automated validation of leaked credentials against an organization's external attack surface. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts cybersecurity VP Joseph Gothelf is quoted supporting the convergence of threat intelligence and security validation.

How to Keep Malware’s Rotating Infrastructure From Becoming a Detection Gap

ANY.RUN marketing piece argues SOC detection lags rotating malware and phishing infrastructure, citing a 46-country campaign and 3DBlast kit to promote TI feeds.

ANY.RUN describes how malware and phishing campaigns rotate domains and hosting, making single-IOC blocking ineffective for SOC teams. One investigated phishing campaign spanned 46 countries with 425 kit URLs across 240 hosts, 94% of which were seen for only a single day. A phishing kit dubbed 3DBlast impersonates Microsoft 365 and Google using BitB, AiTM, OAuth device-code phishing and DOM relay techniques. The article is primarily a promotion for ANY.RUN TI Feeds and TI Lookup products.

Protecting organizations from AI-assisted executive impersonation and invoice fraud

Microsoft tracked a campaign of over one million AI-crafted CEO-impersonation emails seeking ~$50,000 ACH payments with fabricated ServiceNow invoices.

Between August 3 and 5, Microsoft detected a campaign of more than one million fraud emails, 87.7% of them targeting US enterprise users, sent through multiple third-party email delivery service accounts. The actor impersonated CEOs, CFOs, and presidents of targeted companies, urging accounts payable staff to process an ACH payment of nearly $50,000. Lures layered executive impersonation, lookalike domains, a fabricated ServiceNow 'Annual Subscription' invoice personalized to the recipient, and forged forwarded email threads; Microsoft found no evidence ServiceNow or the referenced executives were compromised. Microsoft observed indicators consistent with generative AI-assisted template creation, while leftover inconsistencies such as missing forwarding headers and mismatched display names gave defenders detection cues.

Detect and disrupt AI-themed attacks with Microsoft Defender

Microsoft Threat Intelligence reports criminal campaigns impersonating ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and DeepSeek in phishing, AiTM, and malvertising attacks reaching 100,000 emails daily.

Other campaigns included malvertising for a fake AI Windows plugin delivering the Vidar stealer and fraudulent DeepSeek installers distributed via GitHub. Initial access broker Storm-3075 used AI-themed malvertising to distribute payloads for multiple downstream actors, and Microsoft notes the AI services themselves were not compromised. Hackers Deploy Agentic AI to Automate Exploitation and Mass Credential Harvesting

Google GTIG documents a financially motivated actor using a multi-agent AI framework to automate credential harvesting, compromising over 23,800 secrets within hours.

Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) documented a financially motivated actor that compromised an unnamed organization's cloud infrastructure and used a multi-agent AI framework to automate vulnerability scanning, credential harvesting, troubleshooting, and IP rotation. The operation went from planning to mass credential compromise in under six hours, harvesting more than 23,800 secrets including cloud and AI-service API keys via an exposed C2 dashboard called 'Recon'. The actor directed specialized agents using an AI coding chatbot and Markdown instruction files such as AGENTS.KNOWLEDGE.md and agentic_vuln_research.md. AsyncRAT Malware Abuses AutoIt and PowerShell to Hide Inside Legitimate Windows Process

Point Wild details a five-stage AsyncRAT campaign using AutoIt abuse and process injection to hide a .NET RAT inside Microsoft's signed charmap.exe.

Researchers at Point Wild Threat Intelligence analyzed a campaign starting from a lure batch file ('Right-click to open Invoice Details.bat') that launches hidden PowerShell to reconstruct a Base64/XOR-obfuscated payload.
