All-Line Equipment Company Fuel-Boss
CISA warns All-Line Equipment Fuel-Boss product versions contain flaws enabling remote command or code execution; fixes are available for some variants only.
CISA published ICS advisory ICSA-26-239-02 covering vulnerabilities in All-Line Equipment Company Fuel-Boss products, including the V1 Standard, V1 Portal, V1 Master/Slave, and V1 Backflush. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to execute arbitrary commands or code remotely on affected systems. Vendor fixes are available for Fuel-Boss V1 Standard and V1 Portal, fixes are not yet available for V1 Master/Slave, and no fix is planned for V1 Backflush. Customers are directed to contact All-Line Equipment Company for remediation instructions.
USN-8752-1: Konsole vulnerability
Ubuntu patches Konsole URL-handling flaw that could let a remote attacker execute arbitrary code under specific circumstances.
USN-8752-1 fixes a Konsole vulnerability where certain URLs are incorrectly handled under specific circumstances. A remote attacker could possibly exploit this to execute arbitrary code on a victim's system. Ubuntu released updated packages for affected releases.
USN-8749-1: CivetWeb vulnerabilities
Ubuntu USN-8749-1 patches CivetWeb URI and HTTP request parsing flaws enabling remote DoS or possible code execution.
Ubuntu Security Notice USN-8749-1 addresses two CivetWeb vulnerabilities. CVE-2025-55763 involves incorrect URI parsing that could allow a remote attacker to cause denial of service or execute arbitrary code, affecting Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and 24.04 LTS. CVE-2025-9648 involves incorrect HTTP request parsing enabling remote denial of service.
VU#728712: Konami's Metal Gear Online 3 contains a heap-based buffer overflow
CERT/CC details CVE-2026-19874, a heap overflow in Metal Gear Online 3 letting match hosts execute code on lobby members' machines.
VU#728712 describes a heap-based buffer overflow in Konami's Metal Gear Online 3, tracked as CVE-2026-19874, affecting version 1.1.2.8 (Steam AppID 287700). The input-validation flaw lies in processing Steam lobby metadata tied to the player-removal feature, letting a match host trigger remote code execution on lobby members' machines via specially crafted data. The game is an 8v8 competitive shooter using Steam Matchmaking for lobbies.
USN-8563-5: nginx vulnerability
Ubuntu ships improved nginx fix for CVE-2026-42533 after earlier patch regression; flaw allows remote crash and possible code execution.
USN-8563-5 provides a better fix for CVE-2026-42533 after the original fix from USN-8563-1 was backed out in USN-8563-2 because it caused a regression. The flaw stems from nginx incorrectly handling certain map directives using regex matching and capture variables, allowing a remote attacker to crash nginx, causing denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code. The original advisory also described a use-after-free in the ngx_http_ssi_module when configured with Server-Side Includes, proxy_pass, and proxy buffering.
Hackers Steal Active Directory Password Hashes Without Attacking Domain Controllers Directly
Attackers use the DCSync technique to impersonate domain controllers and harvest AD password hashes and Kerberos keys without directly compromising domain controllers, Trellix warns.
Per Trellix, threat actors increasingly abuse Active Directory replication via DCSync, using privileged credentials to invoke DRSGetNCChanges and retrieve NTLM password hashes and Kerberos key material without running code on domain controllers. Capturing the krbtgt account hash enables forging Golden Tickets for persistent, highly privileged domain access. Because malicious replication traffic mimics legitimate DRS/RPC activity, defenders should monitor Windows Security Event ID 4662, restrict replication permissions, and investigate replication requests from non-domain-controller systems.
