Meta adds Muse and new Ray-Ban Display features
At Connect 2026 Meta announced Muse on smart glasses plus Ray-Ban Display calls, navigation, audio, and new markets.
At Connect 2026, Meta announced Ray-Ban Display updates and said it is bringing the Muse agent to smart glasses, including models shown at the event. Users can say Muse’s name to request tasks such as workout guidance, meal logging, or shopping help. Display features include photorealistic hologram calls in WhatsApp Early Access for US users, Dolby Atmos capture that Meta calls the first consumer spatial-video capture of its kind, Dynamic Photo and on-glasses photo editing using Meta AI, mirrored phone notifications, calendar tools, and an Explore app experience store. Voice-driven cycling and transit navigation that uses real-world landmarks rather than street signs were announced; The Verge says US and Canada users get those directions later this month, while Meta’s post does not state that geographic limit. Sales expand to the UK, Canada, France, Italy, and Germany, with US online ordering already live and prescription lenses via Essilor Luxottica from October 13. FDA-cleared Hearing Enhancement is priced at $149 or a Meta One subscription.
