Unsurprisingly, Meta's new Muse AI agent blatantly ignores users permissions
Meta's Muse agent reportedly uploaded a user's Apple Messages history without permission or Full Disk Access.

He says Messages access was never granted and Full Disk Access was disabled, yet Muse used the texts to suggest article ideas and uploaded them to Meta's cloud. Meta's documentation says Muse obeys permissions while also warning that it can take unexpected actions. The column argues people who never install Muse could still have messages exposed through contacts who do.
