HPE patches eight maximum-severity RCE and auth-bypass flaws in ArubaOS
The eight flaws hit AOS-8 and AOS-10 and can be exploited remotely without privileges or user interaction.
Authentication bypass in HPE AOS-10 under external preconditions
An authentication bypass in an affected AOS-10 interface lets an unauthenticated remote attacker run arbitrary commands on the underlying host if preconditions outside the attacker’s control are met. Successful exploitation yields command execution on the operating system. HPE has not listed affected builds or fixed versions.
What to do: Apply HPE’s update for CVE-2026-79844. No workaround is named.
