HPE patches eight maximum-severity RCE and auth-bypass flaws in ArubaOS
The eight flaws hit AOS-8 and AOS-10 and can be exploited remotely without privileges or user interaction.
Unauthenticated command injection in HPE Aruba AOS-8
A command injection flaw in an affected AOS-8 interface lets an unauthenticated remote attacker run arbitrary commands on the underlying host when certain preconditions outside the attacker’s control are met. No user interaction is required. Successful exploitation yields arbitrary command execution on the operating system of affected HPE Aruba AOS-8 systems.
What to do: Apply HPE’s update for CVE-2026-79846. Affected and fixed AOS-8 builds are not stated here.
