Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told a San Francisco audience that governments lack answers on AI's social effects and that job displacement will outpace preparation. Greece plans a January ban on social media for children under 15, has piloted OpenAI tools to cut teachers' administrative work, and is bringing an HPE-built supercomputer online in Lavrio. He welcomed Microsoft and AWS data-center projects and said frontier-lab warnings justify some form of smart regulation, largely shaped by the United States.
