Even Americans who use AI every day are worried about it

A Gallup survey finds most daily US AI users still worry about the technology.

A Microsoft-commissioned Gallup survey of about 1,000 people in each of 37 countries finds widespread AI use alongside anxiety. About 68% of Americans who use AI daily are worried, 74% of Americans overall reported worry, and only 36% expect AI to mostly help the United States. Singapore, with 46% daily use, China, and Israel are more optimistic, while only 36% of all respondents median-trust AI results a lot. Gallup plans to expand the project to 140 countries.
