Google Beam expands with new regions, partners, and customers
Google expands Beam telepresence hardware to six countries and an Industrious coworking network.
Google said HP Dimension with Google Beam is shipping to customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan, supported by 18 channel partners and integrations with Google Meet and Zoom. An eight-week internal study found teams felt 50% more connected, understood feedback 33% more easily, and needed 21% fewer follow-up meetings. Early users include Bain & Company, Netflix, and Capital Group. From October, Beam can be booked at Industrious sites in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Palo Alto.
