Google Beam ships to six countries via HP

Google Beam, as HP Dimension, ships in six countries via 18 partners, with Industrious bookings from October.

Google said HP Dimension with Google Beam is shipping to customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan, backed by 18 channel partners and integrations with Google Meet and Zoom. Internal testing, described in one report as an eight-week study, found teams felt 50% more connected, understood feedback 33% more easily, and needed 21% fewer follow-up meetings. Early customers named in both reports are Bain & Company, Netflix, and Capital Group. From October, Beam can be booked at Industrious sites in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Palo Alto. The reports agree on countries, partners, customers, and study results; only the study duration is stated in one report and omitted in the other.
