Cloudflare announced Vinext 1.0, a Vite-based framework that runs Next.js Pages Router and App Router applications and deploys them to Cloudflare Workers, Netlify, or AWS Lambda. The project started as a week-long experiment in February and now claims more than 99 percent compatibility on most requested features, excluding cache components. Migration uses npx vinext check and npx vinext init, while support for the Next.js "use cache" directive remains limited.
