Meta is going to let you build games with AI right on your phone
Meta opened early-access waitlists for Horizon Create and Studio, prompt-based tools that build playable mobile games.
Meta announced early access, via a waitlist, for Horizon Create, a mobile app, and Horizon Studio, a browser tool with more granular controls, both of which turn prompts into 2D or 3D mobile games with progression, art direction, and multiplayer. Published games can be recommended on Facebook and Instagram and played in the feed without a separate download. Meta is competing with Roblox, which has 123 million daily active users and its own prompt-to-game feature, while Horizon was reported at about 300,000 monthly users in early 2022.
