Cloudflare open-sourced Forge, a pluggable generation pipeline for SDKs, CLIs, documentation, and related libraries, built so API changes can be previewed in CI before they ship. It already produces the output required for the cf CLI and is planned to power Cloudflare’s API documentation and SDKs, which span more than 3,500 operations written in Rust, Go, TypeScript, and Python. Forge lints changes and builds installable previews on pull requests across hundreds of repositories. Generators can be chained, including turning an OpenAPI spec into Cap’n Web bindings, with MCP servers and schema or client libraries described as further targets.
