Google is rolling out Universal Cart in the US across Gemini and Search to unify multi-retailer shopping.
Google is rolling out Universal Cart in the United States across the Gemini app and Google Search AI Mode after previewing it at I/O in May. The cart stores products from multiple retailers, sends price-drop and restock alerts, and can surface promotional codes. Shoppers can pay with Google Wallet, which can compare saved card perks, or move items into a merchant checkout. Google has not set a timeline for planned Gmail and YouTube integration as OpenAI, Meta, and Shopify expand agentic shopping.
