Google added Live Avatar to Gemini 3.8 Live, letting Gemini Enterprise users talk with an animated persona that lip-syncs and changes facial expressions in real time. Google says the avatar can switch among 97 languages without degrading video fidelity and can show information on screen while speaking. Organizations can pick preset avatars or create their own. Output includes Google's invisible SynthID watermark and safeguards intended to respect identity. The feature follows last week's Gemini 3.8 Live launch, which Google says processes visual inputs in near real time.
