Unauthenticated Path Traversal RCE in Broadcom VMware vCenter Server Syslog
CVE-2026-59310 is a directory traversal (CWE-22) vulnerability in the Syslog server component of VMware vCenter Server, rated critical at CVSS 9.8. It can be triggered over the network without authentication or user interaction, allowing a malicious actor with network access to vCenter to achieve arbitrary code execution. An attacker who exploits it gains code execution on the vCenter appliance, and reported campaigns show it has been used to establish persistent remote access and, by a suspected China-nexus actor, to deploy Babuk ransomware. Any organization running an affected version of vCenter Server is exposed, especially where the management interface is reachable from the internet; the available data does not specify affected version ranges. Exploitation is confirmed in the wild: CISA added the flaw to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-08-18, it was reportedly exploited just five days after disclosure, and EPSS estimates a 45.9% probability of exploitation within 30 days (99th percentile).

Authentication Bypass in Microsoft SharePoint Server
Microsoft SharePoint Server is affected by a weak authentication vulnerability (CWE-1390) that allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. Per the CVSS vector, exploitation requires no privileges and no user interaction with low attack complexity, so any unauthenticated attacker with network access to a vulnerable server can trigger it remotely. Impact to confidentiality and integrity is rated high (CVSS 9.1, critical), meaning the bypass effectively grants the attacker access that authentication should have prevented, with no direct availability impact. All organizations running on-premises Microsoft SharePoint Server are potentially affected; the source data does not specify affected version ranges or fixed builds, so defenders should consult Microsoft's advisory for those details. The flaw is under active exploitation: a public proof-of-concept is available on GitHub, attackers began exploiting it after the PoC went public, and CISA added it to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-08-18 (EPSS ~40%, 99th percentile; ransomware association unknown).
Authenticated Deserialization RCE in Microsoft SharePoint Server (Actively Exploited)
CVE-2026-45659 is a deserialization-of-untrusted-data vulnerability (CWE-502) in Microsoft SharePoint Server in which an authorized (authenticated, low-privilege) attacker can submit crafted serialized data over the network, with no user interaction required, to execute code on the server. Successful exploitation carries high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the SharePoint service context, giving attackers a foothold for follow-on activity, and CISA notes that ransomware use is known. Organizations running on-premises Microsoft SharePoint Server are affected; the source data lists no specific version ranges, and the CPE scope (sharepoint server) points to the on-premises product rather than the Microsoft-managed SharePoint Online service. The flaw was added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-07-01 after active exploitation, and its EPSS score of 76.1% (100th percentile) indicates a high probability of near-term exploitation. The CVE record lists no public proof-of-concept, though related reporting describes exploitation activity following a public PoC release for a SharePoint authentication bypass.

CVE-2026-20963 is a deserialization of untrusted data flaw (CWE-502) in Microsoft SharePoint that allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code remotely over the network. The flaw is triggered when SharePoint processes maliciously crafted serialized data without validating it, enabling an attacker to run arbitrary code in the context of the SharePoint service. Successful exploitation gives the attacker code execution on the affected SharePoint server, a foothold that typically supports further lateral movement and data access within the environment. Organizations running affected SharePoint deployments are in scope, though affected version ranges have not yet been published in the available data. The vulnerability was added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-03-18, confirming active exploitation, and its EPSS of 31.6% (98th percentile) indicates a high near-term probability of exploitation; no public proof-of-concept is known and CVSS scoring is not yet available.
Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion in Gladinet CentreStack and Triofox
Gladinet CentreStack and Triofox, in their default installation and configuration, contain an unauthenticated local file inclusion flaw (CWE-552) that allows unintended disclosure of system files to remote attackers. The flaw requires no privileges or user interaction (CVSS 3.1: AV:N/PR:N/UI:N, 7.5 High), so any internet-facing deployment is directly reachable over the network. An attacker gains access to system files that should not be externally readable, and related reporting indicates active attacks have chained the flaw — including with Gladinet's hardcoded keys — toward unauthorized access, code execution, and deployment of remote access tools. All versions prior to and including 16.7.10368.56560 of both products are affected. Exploitation has been observed in the wild: the vulnerability was added to CISA's KEV on 2025-11-04 and carries a 92.1% EPSS probability of exploitation within 30 days.
