Wiz launched AI SAST in public preview to find code flaws traditional scanners miss.
Wiz released Wiz AI SAST as a public preview for Wiz Code customers, using AI to find application weaknesses that rules-based scanners often miss. The product is powered by the Atlas harness, which Wiz said ranked first on CyberGym at its July 2026 launch and previously uncovered more than 200 vulnerabilities in widely used open-source software. Findings are correlated with production exposure on the Wiz Security Graph, repositories are prioritized with Mika AI, and retesting plus semantic deduplication keep results stable across scans. Wiz said it continuously benchmarks models, including cyber models available through a Google DeepMind partnership.
