Meta says Muse passed 10 million users, with shopping a top use
October 22: The Verge describes Zuckerberg’s plan for Muse agents to handle shopping, relationships and transactions, and says Meta expects the app to be highly profitable within a few years.
Meta says Muse has more than 10 million users, about a quarter active daily, after a fast U.S. launch.
Meta said on its third-quarter earnings call that the Muse AI app has more than 10 million users, confirming Sensor Tower estimates from earlier in the week. Sensor Tower counted 10.9 million downloads since the September debut, 10.2 million in the United States, within about 40 days, and 2.5 million daily active users on October 16. Zuckerberg said about 25% of people who set Muse up use it daily. More than a quarter of engaged shoppers averaged purchases above $200 via Plaid; The Verge instead describes average spending above $200 per transaction. Meta plans to keep Muse free for most people, take a cut of commerce, and charge for advanced models.
