HPE patches eight maximum-severity RCE and auth-bypass flaws in ArubaOS
The eight flaws hit AOS-8 and AOS-10 and can be exploited remotely without privileges or user interaction.
Unauthenticated buffer overflow RCE in HPE AOS-10
A buffer overflow in an affected AOS-10 interface can be triggered by sending specially crafted packets. No authentication or user interaction is required. Successful exploitation lets an attacker run arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. HPE has not listed affected builds.
What to do: Apply HPE's update for CVE-2026-79847. No workaround is named.
