BAE Systems Security Incident Stalls Notices From US Bankruptcy Courts
A BAE Systems security incident has halted US bankruptcy court notices nationwide for a week.
Federal bankruptcy courts have been unable to send notices through the Bankruptcy Noticing Center since a cybersecurity incident on BAE Systems infrastructure that operates the center for the US judiciary. The Administrative Office of the US Courts said BNC systems and websites are unavailable and notices are no longer generated. BAE said the incident is isolated to the BNC system. Neither party has confirmed the cause or whether data was compromised, and no restoration date has been given.
