BAE Systems cyberattack disrupts US federal court operations
A cyberattack on BAE Systems has knocked out US federal bankruptcy court notice systems.
The Administrative Office of the US Courts said a cyberattack on contractor BAE Systems took down the Bankruptcy Noticing Center used by federal bankruptcy courts and halted notice production and distribution. Access to BAE-operated judiciary sites, including bnc.uscourts.gov, bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov, notices.uscourts.gov, and the National Creditor Registration Service, is unavailable. BAE is investigating and working to restore service. The judiciary previously said it was hardening CM/ECF and PACER after earlier sophisticated intrusions.
