Google is about to remove free access to Gemini Flash and Pro
Google will restrict free Gemini users to Flash Lite and move Flash and Pro behind paid plans.
Starting October 9, free Google Gemini users will be limited to the Flash Lite model. Standard Gemini Flash will require the $4.99 monthly Google AI Plus subscription, which will also lose Gemini Pro. Gemini Pro and the Deep Think reasoning option will be limited to Google AI Pro at $19.99 or Ultra at $99.99 per month. Google said higher effort settings can consume usage limits faster.
