Google launched Playground, a free browser platform for adults in the United States that creates games from text prompts using Gemini, Nano Banana and Lyria. Users can adjust rules, physics, characters and environments, then share links or publish games to a gallery, with some genres supporting leaderboards and multiplayer. Google One subscribers get higher weekly limits, and published games undergo safety review. Google and Unity also announced Unity Spark, an AI development tool whose closed beta is planned for 2026.
