Notable criticals include an Entra ID authentication bypass (CVE-2026-62916) and multiple Windows DNS Server and Office remote code execution flaws.

Three CVSS 10.0 ServiceNow Flaws Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Code and SQL

ServiceNow patched four AI Platform flaws, including three pre-authentication CVSS 10.0 issues enabling unauthenticated code execution, SQL injection, and privilege escalation.

ServiceNow released patches on August 27, 2026 for four AI Platform flaws: CVE-2026-18885 (code injection in the GraphQL Composite Data API), CVE-2026-18886 (improper access control enabling privilege escalation), and CVE-2026-74820 (SQL injection), all self-rated CVSS 10.0 and exploitable without authentication, plus CVE-2026-6876, an 8.7 sandbox escape. Updates were deployed to hosted instances, but self-hosted customers must patch affected Xanadu, Yokohama, Zurich, and Australia release lines themselves. NASA AIT-GUI Flaws Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Issue Spacecraft Commands

Researchers disclosed 9.4-CVSS flaws in NASA/JPL's AIT-GUI allowing unauthenticated attackers to issue arbitrary spacecraft commands via exposed command endpoints.

Cycode disclosed a flaw chain in AIT-GUI, the browser-based operator console for NASA/JPL's open-source AMMOS Instrument Toolkit, tracked as GHSA-p9r8-2q67-fp86 with CVSS 9.4, affecting versions 2.5.1 and earlier. The server binds to 0.0.0.0:8080, issues sessions without credential checks, and lets unauthenticated users issue spacecraft commands via POST /cmd and reach files outside intended directories via /script/run and /seq (CWE-306, CWE-352, CWE-22). Version 2.5.2 adds host binding and same-origin checks but does not add authentication, and a related missing-authentication flaw was published separately as CVE-2026-60112 with CVSS 9.3.

Horizon3 demonstrated escalation to OS command execution, and honeypots run with Defused Cyber observed exploitation attempts on August 30, 2026, using PostgreSQL commands with nc and curl. Fixed in Switchvox 8.4.0.2 released July 14, 2026; one attacker IP (176.65.148.184) was documented.

Forminator WordPress Flaw Can Enable Unauthenticated RCE via Malicious PHP Uploads

Wordfence disclosed CVE-2026-15748, a critical unauthenticated file upload flaw enabling RCE in the Forminator Forms WordPress plugin, patched in version 1.56.2.

Wordfence reported CVE-2026-15748 (CVSS 9.8) in Forminator Forms, a WordPress plugin with over 600,000 active installations, allowing unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary PHP files and achieve remote code execution. The flaw stems from insufficient file type validation in the handle_file_upload() function, and exploitation requires a form containing both a File Upload field and a Select field, plus a custom upload storage root lacking .htaccess PHP protection. All versions up to and including 1.56.1 are affected; version 1.56.2 released July 31, 2026 fixes the issue. Wordfence also disclosed CVE-2026-15826 (CVSS 9.8), an authentication bypass in User Profile Builder (40,000+ installs) letting unauthenticated attackers log in as administrator, fixed in version 3.16.5 on July 16, 2026.

Check Point Discloses Two 9.8-Rated VPN Certificate Flaws Enabling Unauthenticated RCE

Check Point patched two 9.8-rated VPN certificate flaws, CVE-2026-85102 and CVE-2026-85103, enabling unauthenticated remote code execution; no exploitation observed yet.

Check Point disclosed and began patching two critical (CVSS 9.8) vulnerabilities in VPN certificate handling on September 9: CVE-2026-85102, a certificate trust validation failure in VPN negotiation on Security Gateways, and CVE-2026-85103, a heap-based buffer overflow in ASN.1 decoding affecting Quantum Security Gateways and Security Management Server. SAP Patches CVSS 10.0 Kernel Flaw Enabling Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution

Also patched: CVE-2026-58240 (S4GET, CVSS 9.8), a missing authentication check in SAP NetWeaver Message Server yielding RCE as <sid>adm; CVE-2026-76969 (9.4), credential disclosure in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model multi-tenant apps; and CVE-2026-66768 (9.0), improper access control in SAP NetWeaver SAP GUI for Java. Onapsis, which discovered the flaws, says none have been exploited to date and recommends prioritizing internet-facing SAP systems.

Dell Secure Connect Gateway Critical Flaws Allow Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution and Admin Access

Dell patched three critical Secure Connect Gateway flaws (CVE-2026-80172 up to CVSS 9.8) enabling unauthenticated admin access, remote code execution, and host takeover.

Dell Security Advisory DSA-2026-382 fixes three critical vulnerabilities in Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) 5.0, affecting appliances earlier than 5.36.00.16 and applications earlier than 5.36.00.00. ASUS Control Center Critical Flaw Allows Unauthenticated Attackers to Gain Root Access

ASUS patched CVE-2026-19397 (CVSS 7.7) in Control Center Express Agent, letting unauthenticated nearby attackers with an active session take over the host.

ASUS released version 1.7.24 of Control Center Express Agent to fix CVE-2026-19397, a CWE-306 missing-authentication flaw scored 7.7 on CVSS v4. Exploitation requires an active login session on the target and nearby network access, and agent compromise could lead to complete device takeover where the agent runs with elevated privileges. ASUS also issued a same-day advisory for Armory Crate covering ten additional CVEs.

Telerik UI Padding-Oracle Bug Chained to Unauthenticated RCE — Public Exploit Released

TantoSec published a working exploit chaining a Telerik UI padding oracle to unauthenticated RCE; Progress patched the flaws in July.

TantoSec's Marcio Almeida released a full exploit chain and tooling for the RadAsyncUpload control in Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX, turning a padding oracle (CVE-2026-13182) into unauthenticated RCE via an unguarded type-resolution flaw (CVE-2026-13181, CVSS 8.1). Exploitation requires a rendered RadAsyncUpload handler and an explicit non-default encryption key, and took roughly 127,000 oracle requests (about an hour) in lab testing. Versions 2010.1.309 through 2026.2.519 are affected; Progress fixed the chain in 2026.2.708 on July 8, 2026, and no in-the-wild exploitation has been confirmed. A separate RCE chain in RadPersistenceManager and RadDockLayout (CVE-2026-13185, -13186, -13190) was also patched but has no public exploit.

GitLab Patches Critical Unauthenticated GraphQL Vulnerability

GitLab issued an emergency patch for a critical unauthenticated GraphQL flaw (CVE-2026-19478, CVSS 9.4) enabling remote modification or deletion of public projects.

GitLab patched CVE-2026-19478 (CVSS 9.4), an unauthenticated GraphQL directive flaw allowing remote modification or deletion of public projects and user data on self-managed servers. The emergency patch released August 17 covers versions 19.2.4, 19.1.6, 19.0.8, and 18.11.11, but no fixes exist for the 18.2-18.10 branches. A second issue, a CSRF weakness in GraphQL multiplex queries (CVE-2026-19650, CVSS 7.1), shipped in the same release. No exploitation or public PoC has been observed; the flaw was reported by hiimguardian through HackerOne.

Critical GitLab GraphQL Flaw Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Delete Public Projects

GitLab urgently patched CVE-2026-19478 (CVSS 9.4), a critical unauthenticated GraphQL flaw allowing modification or deletion of public projects on self-managed instances.

GitLab released an out-of-band critical patch on August 17, 2026 fixing CVE-2026-19478 (CVSS 9.4), a flaw that under certain conditions lets unauthenticated attackers remotely modify or delete public projects and user data via a GraphQL directive in Community and Enterprise Editions. Fixes are available in GitLab 19.2.4, 19.1.6, 19.0.8, and 18.11.11; GitLab.com and GitLab Dedicated are already patched, so only self-managed installations need to act. The release also fixes CVE-2026-19650 (CVSS 7.1), a cross-site request forgery flaw in GraphQL multiplex query handling requiring user interaction. No exploitation or public exploit code has been observed as of August 18, 2026.

wp2shell: incident response guide (CVE-2026-63030 + CVE-2026-60137)

Eye Security published forensic IR tooling for wp2shell (CVE-2026-63030/CVE-2026-60137), the unauthenticated WordPress core RCE chain, after WordPress.org forced auto-updates.

wp2shell chains a REST API batch-endpoint route-confusion bug (CVE-2026-63030) with an SQL injection in WP_Query's author__not_in parameter (CVE-2026-60137), giving unauthenticated attackers rogue admin and code execution on default installs. Adam Kues of Searchlight Cyber discovered the flaw, a public PoC exists on GitHub, and WordPress.org forced automatic updates across an estimated 200M+ sites. Eye Security released a compromise-scanner WordPress plugin and browser extension and notes database artifacts (oEmbed cache rows, changesets) are the primary evidence since the attack is log-blind; fixed versions are 6.8.6, 6.9.5, and 7.0.2.

Attackers Exploit Issabel Framework Flaw Enabling Unauthenticated OS Command Execution

Attackers actively exploit CVE-2026-89026, a hard-coded JWT key flaw enabling unauthenticated OS command execution on Issabel PBX systems.

VulnCheck reported active exploitation of CVE-2026-89026 (CVSS v3.1 9.8) in Issabel Framework, the web framework for the open-source Issabel unified communications PBX. A hard-coded HS256 JWT signing key identical across every installation lets unauthenticated attackers forge bearer tokens and abuse the /pbxapi/manager/originate endpoint, causing Asterisk to execute arbitrary OS commands as the Asterisk user. A patch replacing the hard-coded key with one stored in /etc/issabel.conf shipped August 1, 2026, and the Shadowserver Foundation first observed exploitation on September 9, 2026. Details on real-world abuse, attribution, and scale remain unknown.

Unauthenticated RCE Flaws Could Expose 200,000+ WordPress Sites to Takeover

Two unauthenticated CVSS 9.8 code-injection and PHP object injection flaws in The Events Calendar plugin expose 200,000+ WordPress sites to RCE and takeover.

Defiant identified two critical vulnerabilities in The Events Calendar WordPress plugin, which has over 600,000 active installations. CVE-2026-78159, unauthenticated code injection during single-event HTML processing, was patched in version 6.17.3.1 on August 25; CVE-2026-78006, unauthenticated PHP object injection via event comments, was patched in 6.17.4.1 on September 10. Both independent chains lead to remote code execution and full site compromise. Roughly 240,000 sites run versions vulnerable to both flaws, and about 300,000 downloads between September 10 and 14 suggest half of installations may still lack the second fix.

Critical Check Point VPN Flaws Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Remote Code

Check Point fixed critical unauthenticated RCE flaws CVE-2026-85102 and CVE-2026-85103 in its VPN gateways; no exploitation observed yet.

Check Point disclosed two critical vulnerabilities affecting Remote Access VPN and Site-to-Site VPN on its security gateways. CVE-2026-85102 is an authentication-bypass flaw that can lead to unauthenticated remote code execution, while CVE-2026-85103 is a heap overflow in ASN.1 decoding that can corrupt memory and also result in RCE. Fixes shipped in Next.js 15.5.24 and 16.3.3 on August 25, 2026, with the AVIF researchers releasing a Python PoC demonstrating RCE on multiple applications.
